Who has the worst rush defense in the NFL?

    And that is exactly how things looked not just early, but at the end of the regular season last year. They could not stop the run at all until the playoffs, when they did it well enough to win the Super Bowl.

    Part of why they got better during the playoffs was Rob Morris clicking in his new position, and he's out for the rest of the season now. I expect the run defense will remain poor this year.

    That is definitely a part of it, but I still think it is a bit early to write that unit off as horrible when they were equally horrible most of the way in 2006.

    actually, no

    Colts had 12th-worst rush defense in NFL history last year and this year I believe they're 21st in the league -- still below average but actually a pretty significant improvement over 2006
