Who has made more bad films Pacino or De Niro?

Michael Caine as supporting actor? C'mon.

Funeral in Berlin and Ipcress File are two of the best spy movies ever made.

He was nominated for Best Actor in Alfie.

He held his own with Sir Laurence Olivier in Sleuth

I mean the list goes on: Hannah and Her Sisters, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the Quiet American are all terrific movies and he played entirely different roles in each one.

Caine is one of the great English actors of the last forty years.

Now, he's played in some real clunkers but given his working class roots, he doesn't have any pretenses about his craft: it's a job.

Sorry, guys, if Caine isn't in the HOF, you've only got a couple of people there.

If you have two acting Oscars, you're in the HOF. Period.

I guess it should pain me to admit it, but I liked Revolution. I thought it did a good job in terms of setting and, as the French say, mise-en-scene.

Some of the dialogue and characters were awful, but I'd probably rent it if it were out on DVD, which it isn't.

There aren't really a lot of great American Revolution movies out there, so I'm willing to put up with some crap.

Pacino has a nutguard for life just on The Godfather, Scarface and Glengarry Glen Ross. Likewise, I'll give DeNiro a pass for cashing in.
But I think DeNiro at least has stretched a bit even in his bad films. Pacino is Pacino whether its Scent of a Woman or Any Given Sunday or The Insider, or his crappy movies. He's a one-trick pony.

I was laughing through the last half of Devils Advocate. So awful I was thinking about all the kids in third world countries that could have been fed with that movies budget.
