Last week, a tiger got out at the San Francisco Zoo, and allegedly mauled a 17 year-old to death. The tiger was also put down. The zoo reopened yesterday, and a makeshift memorial was set up for the tiger. No word about a memorial for the kid.

There are questions about the teen and his friends drinking, taunting the animal.

Tiger wasn't put down. It was shot while mauling one of the other kids. Put down kind of implies an animal being put to sleep, IMO.

I'll await word on the taunting aspect. I hates me a tiger taunter.

I thought he was 19, though.

    "Allegedly" mauling.

    There was no trial.

If the kids did anything to cause this tiger to get out or incited it to attempt to get out I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for them, even if the wall was too low. A memorial for a dead tiger is a bit ridiculous though.

Kids dumb enough to do shit like climb a fence to tease animals at the zoo eventually grow up to be parents too dumb to raise their kids.

OK, allegedly mauling, and I voted for the kid.

No, I didn't present it as a news story. I thought of the poll when I saw this picture:
