    When did I complain? I like the NFL as it is.

    And it was free agency more than the cap that has diminished the overall quality of the elite teams in the NFL. With legitimate revenue sharing, the gap between the haves and have-nots would never be as wide in the NFL as it is in Major League Baseball.

    And expansion is still a major culprit as well. If you want to compare the league to what it was 20 years ago, you have to figure in the addition of the Jaguars, Panthers, Browns and Texans.
