I like Whitlock's passion. It makes him interesting to read. 99 percent of readers don't care about his feuds with other writers. We do, because we follow it differently than normal fans/readers.

King probably doesn't mind either since it creates more "hits" to MMQB

His passion for what, food? Turning everything into an issue of race? Coming off like a condescending prick in every column? Starting stupid pissing contests so he can act superior?
Or just his passion for being a total ass 99.9% of the time?

Has anyone heard his podcast? His first guest was Marriotti.

    I haven't gotten it yet.

If that means we're his audience for this, I hope he gets paid about as much as we do to post on here.

Seriously, that's inside baseball stuff and the only people who care are those who are inside baseball.

I have to assume that one of Whitlock's primary tasks is to generate columns that create more hits for Fox Sports.

Seems like he is doing a pretty good job.

Nobody will ever accuse him of not being well-read.

Monday Morning Quarterback doesn't need any help drawing hits. I can't remember the numbers from that Real Sports segment on King, but I do remember they were unreal.

Whitlock, on the other hand, seems to do a lot of things to try to draft of others in order to get his column on Fox Sports more noticed than it already is.

In writing about sports in many ways you are always drafting others.

Whitlock is good. King is better. End of argument.

But Whitlock is willing to take on the giants of sports. King is more apt to put on the knee pads.
