    I just think it's hilarious that Matt Cassell is having a pretty good NFL career and Matt Leinart hasn't done shit... Granted, it's early and you don't switch QBs after going to the Super Bowl, but still...

    The only nit I'll pick with this project is that there should have been some sort of asterisk by the 1987 replacement players, who would have otherwise never sniffed a starting lineup (except for scabs/future reality show celebrities like Gary Hogeboom). For example, Southern Mississippi's games total is bloated from 269 to 270 by including the game Reggie Collier started.

    Still, otherwise this was a fun read, and a way to remember guys I'd completely forgotten, like the late, great Norris Weese.

    I'm pretty sure Rick Leach would have had at least a brief NFL career had he not opted for baseball instead. I think he was drafted by Denver.
