Lengthy research project using various criteria such as NFL starters produced, NFL games started, Heismans won, Super Bowls won, etc., to come up with an answer.
Story doesn't make a case for one school but lists all 478 quarterbacks, by alma mater, who have started a game in NFL during Super Bowl era.
Check out the results of the poll at the bottom. Purdue ran away with it.
How about this fact: Oklahoma hasn't had a guy start an NFL game since 1949 (Aikman counts as UCLA alum).

If you want to base it on salary, only one school can boast two former quarterbacks making more than 96 million each:

One has a contract for 99.2 million dollars, and a street named after him leading to the stadium.

Another has a contract for 96.9 million dollars, and plays first base for the Colorado Rockies.

And another is ripping off taxpayers daily for $96 million :D

Damn. That's an impressive project, Cory. Good work.

I remember when everyone used to call BYU Quarterback U back when they had that nearly continuous line of NFL signal callers from Nielson to Wilson to McMahon, to Young to Bosco to Detmer. Funny that they don't even get mentioned among the candidates now.

IIRC, every Michigan starting quarterback since Elvis Grbac has played in the NFL

Funny how that began the moment Schembechler retired. Harbaugh's the only noteworthy QB I can think of from the Bo years.

Harbaugh was Bo's only NFL QB.

Out of curiosity, I googled Michigan starting QBs and got this: http://www.geocities.com/davetgc/Michigan_Quarterbacks.html I don't know if Scott Dreisbach or John Navarre had NFL careers. Still an impressive post-Bo list, though.

Navarre was drafted by the Cardinals. He played two games.

Dreisbach only saw preseason action, I believe. Mostly with the Lions and Raiders.
