The slate has been wiped clean.

The above choices received two or more responses in the prior monstrous poll. There have been 83 choices that died like a bill in committee due to lack of votes.

No Jackie Robinson. No soccer. No John Wooden. No Pete Rose.

I have always loved the debate about which sporting events would I have attended/covered if I had the chance. A lot of times I will say, "that would have made my ten" when thinking watching a sporting event. Honestly, I do not even know what would makeup my "10."

Thus, the reason for the poll.

You have 10 picks, and you may go back and change them at a later date.

Hopefully 53 choices do not make peoples' heads hurt so much.

This is like a plate of bad oysters. It keeps coming back up.

I was just going to just say, "You've got to be fucking kidding me" but you were much more eloquent.

You missed the "Miracle on Manchester." That game would've been sweet to be at as a fan or covered by a scribe.

He had it, under soccer. About four polls ago.

93, I say this with all respect, but you need to stop the PhilaYank routine.

And yet you guys keep clicking on the plate of bad oysters...

I did the first polls because I would have kept Pete Rose and Jackie Robinson, but never thought to include the Pens/Flyers or the Miracle on Manchester, which 90 percent of American sports fans have no idea what you are talking about when it is brought up.

Trust me, this is the last incarnation. It will die after this thread.

Point taken. I just wanted to see this one poll through.

I think it's the only one I have attempted.

There are a lot more college-basketball games not listed that I'd much rather have attended than some of the events that are listed.

I guess that's why I missed it since it was a hockey game.

College hoops had votes spread across 7-8 games. Nothing seemed to be "the" game. My #1 college hoops game, Walton vs. Memphis with Wooden on the sideline, did not make this cut.

I think I corrected Manchester and placed it with hockey in the last grouping.

I think Devil's done a nice job paring down the original list. This one certainly doesn't take much time to run through to pick 10 and vote.

If you guys don't like it, that's fine. But maybe some others do. Let the number of votes decide if people think this is worthwhile or not.
