    Spent all of Friday driving home from Wichita. There were some close calls along the way.

    She's doing well.. today's total was just four, but they did come in a 2-minute stretch...

    Memorial Day Weekend, folks. People are lighting fireworks and firing up grills and watching airshows and trying to jump on home plate after a home run. We've got to keep track of one another during this time of danger.

    You're right. I have to put a sharp object in my hand and, this is the scary part, get all the hair off my face.
    Then, pray for me, I have to get in the car and go to ... church.

    I survived, but the thunder, lightning and brimstone falling from the sky scared me.
