Where's Lorenzen Wright?

Are you saying someone already tried to "stupify" this thread?

 

I'm just reading about this story. All bullshit and sick jokes aside, I hope Wright is found safely and if something was going on that caused him to disappear, I hope it's not serious enough to put his family in harm's way.

This is puzzling.

 

Commercial-Appeal in Memphis reporting a body found in wooded area on edge of city with hints that it's Wright's and foul play involved. A 6-11 body would be hard to miss.

I hope it's wrong and he turns up elsewhere ok.

 

WHBQ-TV (FOX) in Memphis has confirmed it's Wright. They're speculating suicide as the initial COD.

I'm very sorry he's dead and I'm not saying the thread didn't go out of bounds, but gallows humor among journalists existed long before this board.

 

Looks like they've changed that tune a bit. They just updated the story to say possible homicide, multiple gunshot wounds.

 

Police investigating a 9-1-1 call from Wright's cell phone day he disappeared that included loud bangs like gunshots and line went dead, C-A says. Supposedly had lot of cash on him and was shot multiple times.

 

This thread didn't start well or end well. RIP.
