Here's hoping this former Cavalier turns up alive.

Now that would be dangerous.

 

There is a rumor that he is going to hold a press conference today at the Greenwich Girls and Boys club.

 

Jeez, if he thinks that now, he should've been here a year or two ago. This place is tame in the insult/attack department compared to what it used to be before The Great Defection.

But he has a point here. These jokes have been predictable, lame and in poor taste.

 

It seems that when something like this happens, it's bound to offend somebody. Like with the Dean Smith story, some UNC fans were upset when lame jokes were made about his situation. Everybody has a soft spot, but that's not to say that Lorenzen Wright is anyone's soft spot.

 

He may have been a soft spot in a lineup or two. But I do hope he turns up OK

 

Add the fact he had been going through financial troubles, and there's no telling what might have made him reach his breaking point.

Here's hoping this is one of those times where the ending turns out positive.
