    Too much Sportscenter. Too much internet. Too much talk radio. no need to like actually sit for 3 hours and watch a whole event anymore.

    Hard to imagine that one. I don't think it was the young adults clinging to their rabbit ears until the bitter end.

    1. Fragmentation of the sporting base (now that EVERYTHING is on TV, you only watch/follow what you want to). Oversaturation can kill an industry.
    2. The fact that some 18-34 men can't afford cable/satellite, which is where a lot of sports are going. The independent station that carries the local college/pro teams' games over the air has gone the way of the dodo.
