Probably in bed after another week of kindergarten.

 

On this board, starting a thread titled "Where will you be in 30 years?"

 

My 12 year old self was parked in front of the TV. It was a long summer, waiting to find out who pulled the trigger.

 

I was 16 and probably getting ready to crash at my best friend's house, because my mother didn't care what happened to me.

 

Needless to say, I was watching too. That's all anybody anywhere was talking about.

In the suburbs north of Dallas, I was two.

 

Sitting in the family room watching with my folks.

 

My parents had been married just more than a year and I was five years and six days from being born.

I did hear all about the Dallas drama from my parents, who were glued to the TV.

 

I was in front of the TV, waiting to see if those Duke boys were going to get away from Roscoe again.
