I find it hilarious that a lot of the stories mention "young, Internet-savvy" voters, like videos and the Internet are some new-fangled thing.

    Uh, CNN co-sponsored the debate.

Sponsorship = hype. Or has ESPN not taught us anything?

ESPN taught me to holler at an Irishman when I see him in the street.

So I got that goin' for me...

I wouldn't have bothered, but you fired the first shot with Kool-Aid Drinkers, skippy.

  5. The guy with the really big gun right there at the end of the debate was pretty scary.
Not as scary as the emptiness in Mitt Romney's soul, but...

I just read the transcript, and Joe Biden had the line of the night.

As the last question, candidates were asked to address the person to their left and tell the audience one thing they liked and one thing they disliked about that person. Biden ended up with Kuccinich.

And said the thing he liked best about him was his wife...

I have no axe, zeke. my observation is that obama looks weak, unsure of himself and inexperienced in that kind of setting. hillary slayed him on the question about whether the candidates would sit down with iran in the first year of office

He kind of looks like the cartoon rendering of Jimmy Durante in "Frosty the Snowman"...

It would be funny, except . . .

I'm currently corresponding with a Russian woman 18 years my junior (who knew match.com reached all the way to Ulyanovsk????), and in the event we ever bridge this tiny 10,000-mile gap and actually meet, that's pretty much what we'll look like together.

I was thinking Kucinich look's like his wife's ventriloquist dummy.
