    I'm sorry, but avoid the Dells like the plague.

    Boundary Waters is a lot of fun if you're into outdoorsy stuff.

    Even on its most discounted day, Hawaii still falls a long way from cheap. It's not so much the cost of getting there, it's the cost of being there.

    Agreed. Any place native northern Indianans consider a vacation destination I immediately cross off my list. Anyway, I hear Kokomo, Ind., is pretty epic in the summer.

    My gang did a Wisconsin midsummer trip and it was hotter than hell. But yeah, percentage-wise you can't go wrong with Wisky or the Michigan U.P. I'd like to do a Michigan golf run sometime.
