When's the NFL schedule getting released?

    So the Colts play the Patriots in 2008 . . . and 2009 . . . both at Indy . . . after playing them in 2007 . . . at Indy . . . after having played them oh, about four years in a row before that . . . all of them in New England.

    Whatever logic/formula the NFL uses is lost on me.

    It is odd how that'll happen several years in a row.

    Seems like it wouldn't be that difficult to keep that from happening year after year.

    Dear BT: The Colts play the Pats each year because they each have won their divisions for the last 5 years. In addition, they play each other once every three years through regular schedule rotation. When the two overlap, as has also happened (in 2006, I think), it screws up the home-away alternating for some reason.

    The Colts-Pats thing is just a coincidence, Colts fans were bitching about it a few years ago for the same reason when they made repeated trips to Foxborough. Bottom line: just shut up and play.
