Diet Coke helps me remember that the Giancana and Roselli murders are tied to the Senate investigation of the JFK assassination by conspiracy buffs.

Rothstein and Anastasia got whacked at the same hotel.

Joe Columbo was killed by a black man that was used as a patsy. The real killers were zips (unknown Sicilian gunners brought in for just one job) that simply walked away.

Story goes they were possibly getting loose lipped on their knowledge of the assassination and somebody or somebodies didn't want them talking.

In Bill Bonanno's book, Bound by Honor: A Mafioso's Story, Bonanno wrote that while he and Roselli were doing time together, Roselli told him he was one of the triggermen that day.

The KC mob was kind of the JV team for the Chicago Outfit. They had control of several of the Strip casinos, most notably the Tropicana.

And yes, they played a big role in the FBI blowing up the Mob's role in Vegas in the Strawman I and Strawman II cases, which effectively decapitated the KC mob.

Chicago's big casino was the recently demolished Stardust, featured in "Casino".
