JUCO Women's Basketball Game Last Night:

Lead official (probably 60 years old) very good/respected official in the conference.

His 1st game of the season. 2nd trip up the floor. 14 seconds in.

Ball goes out of bounds in front of bench, he tries to avoid the ball, players on bench, goes down.....torn tendon on his kneecap.

I wince every time I hear it.

Tell him to rub a little dirt on it and get back out there.

Yikes. That, I think, would be the moment where he decides to give it up. That hurts to just think about.
