    To some writers, the worst possible thing that could fall in their laps is a sensational story that would win the Pulitzer Prize but would require a lot of work, heavy editing and conflict.
     
  2. This is sad, but absolutely true.

    I don't know about newsies, but I know plenty of sports writers who are more than happy to stay in their comfort zone of feature, preview, gamer, rinse and repeat.
