When minor league baseball teams get stoopid

no one should be too surprised. if the owlz are like 99 percent of minor league teams they are owned by some guy or group of guys with a little too much money but not nearly enough business or marketing savvy to buy a big league team.

and the front office is probably led by a 25-year-old GM who spent the last three years after getting a sport management degree at some state school you've never heard of being jack-of-all-trades at other minor league teams. now he or she supervises a staff of interns and maybe one or two 22-year olds who just graduated from college in may and are working for sub-minimum wage but have cool titles like 'director of marketing' and 'pr director' despite zero real world experience.

not exactly the type of people who understand how the journalism business works.
