When is rush hour?

    There is one major road in Austin.
    One.
    And more old hippie beater cars than you can possibly imagine.
    Add in trucks from Mexico, poorly maintained buses from parts unknown, and 50,000+ drunk UT students and you gots trouble.

    I think there's about a five-second period when it's not rush hour. Or is it five nanoseconds?

    DFW traffic can be a beating too, mainly because of constant construction. Nearly every freeway has some kind of project ongoing. Interstate 35E to Denton is a war zone. And by the time the job is done, they just go up the road and start on the next segment.
