When did Marshall Holman go into football broadcasting?

As a bowler, and one who has a 300 game and an 800 series, I glanced up from the laptop during the late SportsCenter to notice bowling great Marshall Holman sitting between Mike Tirico and Joe Theismann doing a preview of Monday Night Football.

Has he always been a football broadcaster since retiring from the tour?

OK, before you all come down on me, it's actually Kornheiser. But geez did he ever look like an older Marshall Holman. At first glance, I actually thought it was him.

Having seen plenty of Kornheiser before (how can you help it?) I hadn't noticed this before. Tonight I was sure it was Holman. Anyone else see the incredible resemblance?

    Does Kornheiser bowl?

Only a hardcore d-to-the-ork bowler would notice. :)

But the resemblance is uncanny. They're practically separated at birth.

Hmm... Bashing bowling 'round these parts isn't a good idea.

    No it's not.

That's OK ... while most of Football Nation will be tuned to the Vikings-Redskins and Chargers-Raiders snoozefests tonight, I'll be watching myself some bowling on the Deuce.

Isn't it ork-to-the-d? I mean, I disagree about the bowling thing because I love bowling, but I think you mis-phrased it.

Thanks for the assist there, Gutter.

Also, thanks for the alert that there's keggling on the deuce tonight.

If TK had his name stitched on the back of his blazer, that'd be very cool. Love the bowling shirts.

I always thought Tony Siragusa looked a little like Mark Roth, and that Erin Andrews looked a little like Paula Sperber.

Guys, was that Football_Bat messing with our Red Dots?

Don't mess with our Red Dots.
