Whatthehell?!?!? We set our clocks forward THIS weekend?

    So I was just handed a nice little full color memo to "remind" me that Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend. I thought it started in April? Am I the last person made aware of this nugget of info?

    EDIT: Fixed the subject line. I was apparently so flummoxed by DST starting this weekend that I didn't even realize that I typed "back" instead of "forward". Thanks to everyone for pointing out my error. I am full of fail!

    Now I'm as confused as you. I thought it was the first weekend after Easter or something like that. At least I thought it had SOMETHING to do with Easter.

    Note: As I typed that above sentence, the guy beside me said it starts this weekend.

    Well, I'll be damned.

    Hell, bring it on! I'm all for having sunlight until 7 p.m. then seeing the sun setting by 4 p.m. in the middle of winter.

    When I was in graduate school at The Ohio University, the students would riot because the bars closed early the night they changed the clocks for Daylight Saving Time.

    You gotta stand for something.

    Figures the night of daylight saving time is the one night that I'm NOT going to be at the bar because I've got a freelance assignment...

    But yeah, as Oggiedoggie linked, daylight saving time has been like this for a while now.
