    Worked it into a sidebar about Brendan Shanahan after Nagano:

    Shanahan, suggested by spellcheck, "Canadian"

    YD&OHS, etc

    The first owner of the local minor hockey team here was a guy named Jean Gagnon. Spellcheck liked to make it "Jean Bagman" which was a fairly accurate description.

    First day of our new pagination system seven years ago or so, an A1 local story is about a house on the Mississippi Sound. "Beachfront" somehow gets a suggested change to "Battlefield", and a copyeditor hits the "return" key to skip. Unfortunately, on the new system that's not skip, it's replace. Several instances and eight hours later, the homeowner calls with some questions.
