What's your favorite drink?

It's better calorie wise, certainly. Absolut/soda/lime. The lime gives it enough flavor. Like anything, you get used to it. I got very, very used to it. Plus, my shots were straight vodka (Absolut Citron), so it wasn't even that much different.

 

Double tall Maker's and coke. As far as shots, liquid cocaine always gets the job done (rumple minze, jager and 151).

Vodka and soda works for me because it's not sweet at all. Juice is too sweet. Years ago I liked vodka and 7-Up, but I couldn't never drink that now, because it's too sweet. I also like a pisco sour on occasion.

 

Boylan's also produces a fine version of this nectar.

 

As does Stewart's.

For me, a Cherry Crush over crushed ice is my favorite non-alcoholic beverage. That or sometimes an A&W root beer over crushed ice.

When I'm enjoying an adult beverage, I'm a rum guy.

Mount Gay Eclipse Barbados or Appleton Estate and Coke (Pepsi'll do, but Coke is preferred).

If I'm having a good cigar, Mount Gay Extra Old sipped from a snifter enhances the flavor of the cigar tremendously.

 

Diet Coke.

Not Diet Pepsi.

Not Coke.

Not Pepsi.

Not caffeine-free Diet Coke.

Not Coke Zero.

Diet Coke.

And if I have my druthers, in a can rather than in a plastic bottle, please.

 

Dark and Stormy. Which is ginger beer and dark rum. Nice on a summer eve.

1 oz SoCo
1 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Amaretto
1 oz vodka
1 oz slow gin
1 oz peach liquer
Spalshes of lemon/lime juice, OJ and sweet & sour mix

The Devil tastes like Hawaiian Punch...and will kick your ass

Jamaician 10 Speed (shot, good if you are buying for the ladies and they "want something yummy"):
2 oz Malibu
1 oz each of Midori and 99 Bananas
a splash of milk and pineapple juice

Honestly though...I am a beer guy first. I make my own (sipping on a English Mild Ale right now..still have an American Pale Ale in the fridge I made in Feb.), but I am a big beer snob. My "swill" is Killian's and Amber Bock.

OMG I had that at a bar once! I went up to the bar and just said "Make me something fruity" and that's what he made. I only had one and I was a little drunker than I expected.

 

I'd probably be a big beer snob if I liked strong beer tastes. But I'm a beer wuss.
