Blake Carrington at QB, making both of his wide receivers, Alexis Colby and Krystle Carrington, happy.

    THAT'S a Dynasty.

Twin peaks is the only nighttime soap of that era that was ever worth watching.

Wasn't "Twin Peaks" after the "Dallas" era, for all practical purposes?

    Absolutely.

But I take advantage of any excuse to mention The Greatest Television Show of All Time.

I would say three titles in four years. Maybe five.

Oregon State has a chance at it, but not yet.

On a seperate note, can a team be the team of the decade and not be a dynasty?

I'm OK with that, I just don't know enough about college baseball to know which schools have been dominant like that.

A local boys track and field team has won 4 class state titles in a row and has built its pipeline as such that the streak could extend to 7, 8 or an overall state-record 9 by 2012. After this year's 4th in a row I referred to it as a dynasty.

The Yankees were called the team of the 90s, but I never would have called them a dynasty. Too many other teams won titles.

    USC won the CWS in 1948, 1958, 1961, 1963, 1968, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1978 and 1998.
    LSU won in 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 2000.
    Texas won in 1949, 1950, 1975, 1983, 2002 and 2005.
    Arizona State won in 1965, 1967, 1969, 1977 and 1981.
Those are the schools in the conversation, although Oregon State certainly has a great chance now.
