    Love The Big Easy.

The Big Easy is a great movie.

I never considered myself a romantic movie sort, but I really love a lot of the movies mentioned on this thread, so I guess I am.

I have a nominee for best bad romantic movie, which was how I initially read the thread title: A Walk To Remember.

I feel incredibly unmanly (best 19th century insult there is) admitting it. Everything about it, from Mandy Moore, to the formula that reaches inside your eye sockets and pulls out the tears by force to the fact that it is based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, a fact that makes me want to pull out my fingernails one by one. But I have watched this movie several times and alternated between feeling all warm and fuzzy and chicklike to wanting to cry each time.

Hejira: Great call on Message in a Bottle. I cry at that one too.

Understood. I have one, too. Honestly, I just never put that much thought into the thing. I just enjoyed the performances in the movie.

Wow. That is COMPLETELY not how I read Tom Petty's sentence. But that way makes much more sense.

    I absolutely love 'Untamed Heart.'

I even rewind it at the closing credits just to hear Nat King Cole's "Nature Boy" again and again. Great movie, great song.

Songbird has contacted me to register his vote: 'Love Actually sucks.'

I still, however, like him as a person.

For that, I vote against his return in every poll ever to be started.
