Manning doesn't deserve to be on the cover of Madden?

Who gives a fuck who's on the cover of a video game?

And why wouldn't it be the Super Bowl MVP?

I think he's talking the Madden "jinx"

Well, it's usually who had one of the best statistical years a season before. I would assume either Tom Brady or Randy Moss will be on the cover.

Because the SB MVP isn't on the cover each and every year.

Who cares? The Madden jinx is nothing more than one of sports' urban legends.

Vince Young was on this year's cover.

    Really?

Culpepper threw for 4,000 yards in 2000. Comes out in 2001, the same year Madden 2002 comes out and throws 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in his first 11 games and suffers a back injury.

Vick had his right fibula snapped in the 2003 season, only played five games.

Lewis broke his arm and didn't record an interception the year of his cover.

McNabb suffered a sports hernia in the season he was featured, ending his season early.

Alexander had the best season for a running back when he was featured, and the next year, suffered a huge drop-off. He failed to rush for 1,000 yards for the first time since 2000.

EA Sports changed its plan last year then. Since 2008 was the year of the blocker, I figure they needed a mobile quarterback to feature. Vince Young also won Rookie of the Year, so they tossed him on there. I really figure 2009 will go to Brady, Moss or LDT.
