Aloof and distant can be endearing.

No, aloof and distant can be overcome. Not celebrated.

You're as aloof and distant as I am. What do you know of aloof and distant??

Now, is aloof and distant staying on CSI, or leaving with Marquis Grissom?

Good a place as any to note that the Taylor Swift episode was pretty good, the best since Fishburne joined the show.

Says something about Hollywood that Swift is cast as a 15-year-old girl, though.

Glad to see a Nick Stokes-heavy episode.

There is obviously something missing in the show - losing Petersen, Fox and Dourdan in a year, we're left with Eades, Helgenberger and some scrubs. Fishburne's character is interesting, he's the most junior guy on the team and yet they have to fashion stories around him as a person of authority. The writing on the show is still really good, the way they play around with the typical form of procedurals, instead of just sticking with crime, ID suspect, then prove it, is still interesting but the characters just aren't as compelling. The new girl is still a complete mystery to me.

    Isn't she only 17 or 18?

Usually Hollywood casts 29-year-olds as high schoolers.

    Yeah, she's barely 19.

Holy cats, I never made the connection that he was Stud Cantrell. I loved that movie.

Just a slightly different character. :)
