I've never been, but I'd really think New York. It's got America's most important city and what seems to be a pretty nice rural area.

Fair enough. My sister lives in Fort Collins so I get up there often. It's fantastic.

    Hawaii.

What time does the flight leave?

Michigan. Something for everyone, unless you're looking for a job.

Vermont has always seemed to be a nice state.

Yeah, the winters are cold, and there's really no pro sports to speak of, besides the NY-Penn League team in Burlington, but it always seemed very peaceful and quiet there.

I guess, if I were to retire, I'd like a winter residence in Florida for January through March or April, then live in Vermont the rest of the time.

Peaceful? Hell, you can have that when you're dead and buried.

I am having a hard time picking .... other than Ohio, of course.

Remember, Bonnaroo is not a state, city or neighborhood.

I'll go with Colorado. Lots of college and pro sports. Tons of stuff to do. Great outdoors. It's beautiful in most places in the state. Denver is one of my favorite cities to visit.

I don't think I could pick a best state. I think of places I'd like to live by cities, not the rest of the state.

    I'd say Colorado.

Brother lived in Denver and half-brother lived in Boulder.

I've visited and the state just seems fantastic.

I've already moved to the best state IMO : Colorado. I don't live in the front range or the western slope, just right in the middle of the rockies: Breckenridge. Sure, things might be a hair more expensive here, but my view is what most people dream of.
