Hey, in my defense, the song I nicked from was a hell of a lot better.

Sorry, Tina, but we don't need another hero on the anti-tax crusader side.

    You know what? Fuck her.

When she was growing up and bouncing around the country, I'll bet a months paycheck she was a frequent flyer to the social services departments in a region. When Ike was beating her like a snare drum, she was using local police services. So she was a drain on the tax system, but now that she can actually pay more than her fair into it, she runs to Europe.

If it wasn't for the government services, I highly doubt she would be where she is today or even drawing breath.

    Fuck her.

At least Mittens wasn't a drain on the system when he was a kid.

Indeed. When she was growing up, there were social services offices on every corner in Tennessee. Her sharecropper parents didn't have a thing to worry about. "Social services" was taking care of her and her family in the segregated south of the 1940s.

Even Ike didn't hate on Tina that hard.

Geez, you do realize that she has been paying "more than her fair into it" for about 90 percent of her working life, don't you?

And that she has been paying taxes to the U.S. for the past two decades while living in Switzerland and, thus, not receiving any services for those taxes.

Battered women are historically the biggest leaches of government services.

So, I take it you declared she's a scourge on society without actually glancing at the article?

She's lived there since 1995, when her then-husband was transferred there for work.

The only tax reference anywhere is in the thread heading. Not saying it isn't a possible factor, but she hasn't lived here for 18 years.
