Valentine kept up the tradition of slamming former players after they leave Boston by blaming Youk for their clubhouse problems. Can't they ever just let players leave and move on?

I think we've all worked for organizations where we really enjoyed working for someone who leaves and the replacement realizes he'd never be liked as much anyway so he goes out of his way to be a jerk just because he could.
The idea of course, is to motivate people to leave so he (or she) can bring in their own people who are loyal to them.

 

Pretty sure that's not what he meant.

 

Just further proof of what almost everyone knew from the beginning: Bobby V is a bad fit for the Red Sox.
