What would you include?

Okay. College football is right around the corner. This is my first year both designing and writing for Sports 1 on the day of the first regular season game.

    It's a late afternoon start and we're a morning delivery, so . . .

I'm wondering what should be included. What would you include on that front?

Obviously, a lead story. And a short game advance.

    Maybe a column.

I was also thinking full team roster down one column, or perhaps a depth chart near the bottom.

Perhaps a capsule about each team the locals are scheduled to play.

A coaches' poll (or two) used as a graphic (i.e. best QB in the conference, best RB in the conference, etc.)

Anything you have or would run?
