This will come to pass after Dick Whitman buys the site, which I fully expect to happen at some point.

Dammit, we'll all still say we could work for the Plain Dealer.

And anytime anyone asks if there's an update on the job, someone will yell "You're hired!"

    That's all I've got. :)

Don't forget all the jobs will still be a five-minute car flight from Tahoe.

All the posters on "What am I doing with my newborn" will be on the thread "Seriously...WTF do I do with my tween?!"

Instead of "you hear me boy?", Fart will be asking oop, "you hear me, old man?"

I will still love porn and still love pro wrestling. Fact.

I'll be deleting even more "job" ads asking for writers with compensation in "exposure."

I'll be doing my best to right the wrongs of Rhode Island journalism, only to be torn to shreds here when I post what I thought were triumphs.

After almost 20 years, I'll finally be nearing the 9k mark for posts. Spotty Internet connections will slow me down even more.

I'll have served in China, Russia, Pakistan, South Sudan and Afghanistan, will have visited 30 other countries on either R&R or vacation and be working as the assistant to the ambassador of Turkmenistan.
