What will make 2012 stand out for you?

2012 pummeled 2011. In a big, big way.

No one in my family died, which was nice.
Nats win NL East.
Skins win NFC East.

That's pretty special, you guys.

 

2012 fucking sucked. We were balls to the wall from January 1 until the day we deployed. The group I'd worked so hard to build was then systematically dismantled and shipped to others. Then, I spent the second half in Afghanistan. Fuck the first third of 2013, too.

But, my kids are fed and healthy, so I take most of that back.

 

Congrats to Cape and the mrs.

2012 was cool because it was our first full year (literally from Christmas '11-'12) with our new Aussie puppy and Buster's going great as an addition to the household. I also went back to my old firm and its' great.
