Is it just me, or does anyone else out there think Pirate Lou has shivered a few too many timbers (if you know what I mean).

I'd say he's walked the plank right off the deep end.

    Arrrrrrrrr, indeed.

Avast means "attention" or "pay attention or I'll kill you."

I think Cap'n Lou just wants us all to know who doctored the script for the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel. And I'm not so sure that "avast" is the strictly correct historical term in this case. I believe it's "half-vast."

  4. Arrr... the dread pirate Lou be in no man's debt. I'll make a barter with ya; true as the north star. In exchange for your kindness, I'll be sharing me buried treasure with ya... once I find it, that be.

Shouldn't that be "Karl Rove's dingo at ME baby?"

Reminds me of a quiz question while I was in the Navy. The question asked what you were supposed to say if you saw a small boat approaching your ship. A buddy couldn't remember and just wrote down: "Hey, boat dudes!"

Not the right answer. Funny, but incorrect.

Sorry, that should be, "Funny, but incorrect, arrr."

Fuck, eight years after I left the Navy and I can't remember what you're supposed to say either. Abandon ship?
