What the 'f' is wrong with my camera/lens?

    I've had this problem before, the camera is bored from shooting high school track.

    First, the girl in the red is waaaay too high over the hurdle.

    Secondly, the high jumper needs to get his posterior up, or he will knock the bar off every time.

    Canon Rebel Digital EOS, basic 35-80mm lens. This is the third season I have used both lens and body and never had this happen before

    And when you shot these images, were you closer to the 35 or the 80?

    It doesn't matter, I have taken team pics with it at 35 and action shots at 80...same result
