What sports journalist do you go out of your way to read?

    Simmons and Caple.

And during football season: Forde, Schlabach and anyone else who writes about college football.

No, no. Not the sports journalists you go out of your way to avoid.

I used to read Lupica a lot, but that's curtailed quite a bit -- and not because of this site. I just don't get the paper anymore. I read Mike Vaccaro, Peter Gammons and Jeff Passan as much as possible.

I used to read J.A. Adande a lot before he went to ESPN full time, but I'm not that into the NBA so I don't read him as much these days. Aaron McFarling in Roanoke is somebody I read and I'm sort of surprised a bigger paper hasn't snatched him up.
