    As long as the dryers have a temperature control. Nothing like putting in a load of black clothes that are too hot to handle because the stupid dryer was trying to start a fire in the tumbler. And darks can't take that kind of heat.

    There are three settings: Hot, medium and warm. I did my lights on hot and my darks on warm. Both were dry in the 24 minutes (industrial size drums, so plenty of room for the air to circulate).

    But could the air on the dryers be regulated? That will cook darks as quickly as washing them in hot water.

    I have no idea. I did my darks in warm, pulled them out as soon as it was over, and they were fine.
