For those of you who have "several newspapers" bookmarked, which ones? It is current-hometown-former shops? Or is it papers you'd like to work for someday? Papers your j-school friends have a byline at? Random papers where you've found evidence of good journalism?

That reminds me of some ridiculous website names I've seen listed before:
www.whorepresents.com (Who Represents - celebrity agents)
www.expertsexchange.com (Experts Exchange - some computer programming or something)
    www.penisland.net (Pen Island - seriously?)
www.speedofart.com (Speed of Art - art designers)
www.therapistfinder.com (Therapist Finder - I'll take Therapists for $1,000, Alex)

The sections I have bookmarked are the Olean Times Herald, Buffalo News, and Rochester D&C (all local), plus the Washington Post, New York Times, KC Star, and LA Times (overall excellence). The other links go directly to individual columnists' index pages. Think I've crossed paths with only two of those writers, both of whom spent some quality time at the OTH early in their careers.

Ahh the OTH. Never thought anyone on this board would even know of this paper. Psuedo looks like we have a few things in common besides my former location...

For newspapers, I read my college newspaper (because it's the best source for K-State news during the year), the KC Star, the Wichita Eagle, a few papers where friends of mine have bylines, but I mostly get my national news from CNN.
