I'm sure there are a lot more, but these come to mind:

    St. Elsewhere
    Hill Street Blues
    Friends
    The Wire

I haven't had HBO since the early 1990s, which explains The Wire. St. Elsewhere and Hill Street Blues, I was still pursuing my dreams of a baseball career and playing or practicing most nights and otherwise chasing girls. Didn't spend much time in front of the TV then. Friends, I was working nights and didn't really have time to watch TV otherwise.

I've never seen a single episode of St. Elsewhere or Hill Street Blues, but my age has more to do with that than anything...

Ronnie, you don't know what you're missing on Monday nights. "Big Bang Theory" is can't miss TV.

Being a sports writer, I don't get to see many TV shows because I'm always working nights. But here are a few very popular TV shows that would make the list:

Seinfeld (never watched it until it was in syndication, now I don't miss it)
Scrubs (didn't actually start watching until this summer)
Lost (haven't seen one single episode)
    24 (same as Lost)
Everybody Loves Raymond (same as Seinfeld)
    ER (haven't seen one episode)

There's actually a lot more than this, but these are the big ones that kind of jump off the top of my head.

The themes for those shows (Dave Grusin for "St. Elsewhere" and Mike Post for "Hill Street Blues") alone made those shows worth watching.

I've watched an occasional episode of Hill Street Blues and M*A*S*H. I didn't dislike the shows, which everyone said were great, but I couldn't get into them either.
