    People think I'm handy.

What they don't realize or remember is that coffee & espresso machines are the only things I know how to fix.

Misperceptions that people have in general:

    * "Is Coke OK?" when I ask for a Pepsi.

    It is not.

    Carry on.

Well, Harley, many times, a restaurant is under contract to sell only one or the other. They're not trying to dis you but to inform you. To most folks, Coke and Pepsi are interchangeable

Not interchangeable if you're a Pepsi drinker.

It's funny, but everywhere I've been, if someone asks for a Coke and they say, "Is Pepsi OK?" they almost always say yes. But I've never heard of a Pepsi drinker saying it's OK.

Me? I would rather pay for a Pepsi than drink a free Coke.

The question they should ask is, "Is Dr Pepper OK?" Because yes, it is. ;)

    That I am a right-wing loon.

Hmmmm funny how aside from the abortion issue I'm more liberal on social issues than most Democrats I know.

People asking about a person's marital status.
Servers offering customers the cola brand the restaurant stocks instead of the cola brand the restaurant doesn't have.
There's so much to be angry about, it's a wonder the murder rate isn't three time higher.

Don't get me started on shopping carts with squeaky wheels, either.
