What makes you unique at work?

Each of us here have a rather unique personality that defines our posting, the threads we visit and the things which interest us. But since so much of it is a text-based relationship, we don't often get to see what a person is REALLY like at work.

For me, it's dancing and news. When I teach a class, I always try to start the day with some unique news items, often having absolutely nothing to do with our job or the material. Also, when things are light and easy (or when people are a bit uptight), I try to dance for the class to keep things fun and engaging. The Mixing Bowl, the Figure Eight, the Bowling Ball, the Shopping Cart and, everyone's favorite, the Rain and Windshield Wiper.

Actually, that was the inspiration for my post...I guess because the dancing reminds me of myself.

 

I figured. Just couldn't pass up the gimme. Wish I could respond seriously, but the "might tend to out me" issue comes up.

 

I like to think I can make people laugh on their worst days. Also, nobody - not even Joe Pesci - can drop the F-bomb like I can.

I'm the youngest full-timer on staff by at least two years.

 

No, I don't share that issue with you. I meant reveal who "dooley" is.

Me too.

And, because of my various quirks, I get the brunt of all the joking around.
