She's a reality TV show star. Little more.

    And football.

A lot happens in those piles when there is a fumble.

Just tossing this out here as food for thought:

    http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2014/06/ann-coulter-is-right-to-fear-the-world-cup/373680/

To sum up: The author argues that Coulter's ranting is rooted in her belief of American exceptionalism, in that if Americans didn't come up with the idea but Europeans did, it's a bad thing. That explains her metric system remark -- Europeans came up with it, so adopting it here would be un-American.

And, yes, I understand some people don't like soccer, but there's a difference between why certain posters here don't like it and why Coulter doesn't like it.

I think there is some truth to the troll aspect, because the worse the comments she makes, the more books she sells. I'm not even convinced she believes a lot of what she says, but she's doing what works. It's sad that it works, but it does.

Middle of the road comments or moderate views don't sell books.

If people ignored her, she'd go away.

Can we have a thread on why this isn't funny?

This line was funny. Not original, but funny.

Ugh, they LOST and Americans are cheering? Thanks, Obama.

Good enough for St. Ronnie, good enough for Coulter.

Wow, way to take what was said utterly and completely wrong. He clearly meant that Coulter's antics, which are ultra-conservative by even conservative standards, were crazy and dumb. Not all conservatives. Climb down off your cross now.
