What makes a good track photo?

A spinoff of the "good ball photo" thread. Thought I'd share some of my perspectives from yesterday's state meet, and maybe some of y'all can post to give me ideas on angles and such.

I'll post 10 or so today.

why would she drink so much before a state meet?

 

So much pressure to win her 16th, 17, 18th, 19 state titles. She's on pace to finish her career with 30 state titles (individual and team).

 

Too much white space in the pole vault ... can you tighten it up? Love the reax shots. Nice eye ...

 

I really like the third photo (hurdler) and the vaulter, if only because it is a great shot of someone doing the event completely wrong! The hurdle shot is very good because it is a different look at a common thing. The sky gives it a nice color, too. Good stuff!
