    It's not major (well, it's more major than slappy's puppy, no offense) but I just want to see the alma mater win a football or basketball NCAA championship. More to the point, I want it to happen in my dad's lifetime (he'll be 64 in September but is in good health).

    I'd like to see teleportation. Imagine being able to go anywhere in the world instantaneously instead of spending 16 hours aboard an airliner.
