What is it about accents?

Nothing beats a pretty, smart lady with any accent. I don't care how beautiful your voice is, if the words coming out of your mouth are idiotic there's no redeeming value.

I'm in the middle of wedding planning myself. My fiance and I both grew up in small towns about 6 hours apart. We both now live in a big city halfway between both our our hometowns and decided to get married in the city so both sides would only have about 3 hours of travel to attend (instead of making one side make a 6 hour trek).

Well, I don't reget the decsion, but prices comparisons between big city wedding and small town wedding make me want to cry. Our dinner will be about $38 per plate after taxes and gratuity in the city. In either of our hometowns, it would've been about $11. Also, if your guest lis is 280, count on about 180 actually coming. Usually about 20-30 percent of invitees don't come.

Reminds me of a woman who used to be in a student group I was in. She was originally from India, but when she spoke to most everyone, she sounded valley girl.

She got a call from a friend of hers from India one day. Woah. All of a sudden, she sounded totally different.
