Maybe I'm misreading this quote, but it sounds like Gore was arguing for working with the U.N. to combat Saddam's pursuit of WMDs. He wouldn't have unilaterally decided to invade.

You're all wrong. Katrina still would've happened, but it would've been a Category 1 storm at worst. We all know George Bush was on an aircraft carrier in the Gulf, pointing space heaters at the water and box fans into the sky so it would level New Orleans. It's all his fault.
