What happens when you combine Bounty Gate, Spy Gate in prep soccer?

  1. So Central Hardin and John Hardin high schools in Kentucky faced off in the district (postseason) final Friday night in boys varsity soccer.

John Hardin's coach goes on a profanity-laced tirade in which he tells his players to "hurt" Central Hardin and leave CH players "lying on the ground." John Hardin's coach was suspended by his school's principal and the suspension is his overall third in four years, fourth in six and fifth in ninth (although the previous four were associated-mandated suspensions because of red cards).

Before he was hired at John Hardin, he was involved in a 1998 incident which caused him to lose his teaching certification for five years. You can look it up, but it for the poin files.

The audio, which was released to a Louisville TV station via dropbox, was taken by a Central Hardin student.

First time I've ever heard of an area team filming another's halftime/postgame speech and using it against them. FWIW, John Hardin had no locker room to go to because there is no locker room. Most soccer complexes in Kentucky don't have locker rooms.

Oh, the teams meet for a fourth and final time in the region final -- for the right to advance to the 16-team single-elimination state tournament (Kentucky has only one class, which both public and private schools of all school sizes).
