I've taken it regularly for a year or two, but before writing the prescription, my doctor got about 2 feet from my face and told me to never, ever take it unless I'm physically in bed and ready for sleep. And she went over all the problems that people have reported from it.

I've been lucky in that I've never experienced any of them, and my wife and kids haven't reported any odd behavior from me, but it still has me on alert for the littlest change.

I'm with spike and others on this thread, in that there's something that doesn't add up here when it comes to the wife. Everything is fine, they watch a movie and go to bed, then he gets out of bed and she's got that quick a trigger to call in a missing persons report?

And Urban Meyer would chase two Ambiens with a beer?

Ambien sounds like hydroponic NyQuil in a pill.

In his dreams he thought that Tebow was an NFL QB

Know someone over on Chincoteague Island who promised to never drink again and took up drinking NyQuil instead. Drive down the road, down a bottle and throw the empty out the window.

Bought it by the case. Got to where you couldn't find any NyQuil on the whole damned island.

BAC of 0.218, nearly three times the legal limit:

At least he didn't kill anyone else.

According to the fine folks at ESPN, it was nearly twice the legal limit of .08.

    Almost seems quaint.
